Good thing there is this THE GUIDON(Ateneo de Manila's official publication)and ANG PAMANTASAN(PLM's official publication)that provided me an idea on where to start again.
I unexpectedly heard a voice from the schools i often dream of. It's just like I see the people of Ateneo de Manila and PLM talk in front of me while reading the copy of newspaper I have in my hands, I guess it's because I'm in love with the idea that they are the best.
Yes I was amazed with how they practice the freedom to speak as young journalists. The determination of fighting for the name of their schools not only academically. And stating their wishes for a former school president(Tamayo) who has done so much for the betterment of the name of the school and the quality of education for the students.
I was awakened by the voices I've heard. The call of young journalist to free the country from judgement just because it holds the title, Most dangerous place for journalists. We Filipinos are not slaughterers but we do have records of gruesome killings and violence. Mindanao is a beautiful place and it not a place for hopes to be buried but atrocity happen there. We do deny the fact that injustices happen in our country because we are judge generally.
I also have the courage to expressed the feelings I have against those people responsible for preventing violence and to cry with the people hurt. I also have the faith to hope for a change in our society. Whether or not in the Philippines, You and I isn't safe. We can be killed. All we have to do is take courage to fight once and for all.
Long Live Journalists.
